How to play
- Swipe or use the arrow keys to slide every tile at once.
- Two tiles with the same number merge into one tile worth double.
- A new 2 or 4 appears after every move.
- The game ends when the board is full and nothing can merge.
About Merge 2048
Merge 2048 is a sliding number puzzle played on a four by four board. It rewards planning over speed. A reliable strategy is to pick one corner for your biggest tile and keep it there, sliding mostly in two directions so the large numbers stay lined up along one edge. Reaching 2048 takes around a thousand moves, and you can keep playing past it for a higher score.
